Death Of A Friend

Had some sad news yesterday. My Brothers Dobermann 'Jack' had died.

After limping on one of his legs, x-rays revealed it was full of cancer and could have shattered at any time. There was no option but to say goodbye, and he went to sleep....

This, I believe, calls for a new brew to be dedicated to our playful friend. I fancy putting together a beer with the same proportion of malt and hops that I did for my Barley Wine (which went down very well with the members of the North Hampshire Brewers), only scaled down for a more quaffable pint.

I’m hoping I may be able to get brewing again next week, so watch out for a pint of ‘Jack The Nipper’ coming soon...
