Happy Days

The sunshine got me down the allotment today and I decided the ground was dry enough to get my potatoes in. I only do maincrop and I planted twenty tubers in four rows.

I also managed to get four rows of parsnips in. And not before time as I'm three weeks behind last year, thanks to the weather.

As it's half-term hols, I also had some helpers for a change.

So I had time to get in four rows of leeks and two of spring onions;

And the youngest helper was very keen to do the carrots...

Before sitting down for a well-earned break.
