Well, it's been more than two weeks and I'm still the tenant of Plot 66
I didn't have time to write the sarcastic letter I intended to, but I did make a phone call to the council. Several in fact, but none were answered. I finally gave in and left a message on the Park Officer's voice mail. Did I get a reply? No.
But, what I did get in the post last week was an invitation to renew my tenancy, so I'm assuming all is now well with the misguided souls at the council.
The rent has gone up more than 15% though. I guess that's to cover the increased cost of admin. Oh no, my mistake. They don't even bother to return calls.
Well I suppose congratulations are in order! I do agree that council members would do very well to actually deal with the people who keep them in office but at least, despite their laziness, it worked out well for you.
