Hop Picking

The fair weather over the last few days meant we've been able to harvest the hops from the allotment. These were the hops planted in February - we weren't expecting much as they are meant to grow the roots in year one, but they did remarkably well.

Bramling Cross

A bag full each of 'Target' and 'Bramling Cross'. I'll take them home to dry before bagging them up and freezing.

I've also got the 'First Gold' climbing over the fence. They are ready too and I'll go down and pick them later this week - maybe interspersed with a little weeding to keep the council bods happy too. :)
